Grants are made possible by endowments at The Community Foundation

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The LGBTQ Community Fund, a field of interest fund at The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida, has awarded $104,500 in grants to 13 local nonprofits working to promote an inclusive and welcoming environment in Northeast Florida.

Established in 2014, the LGBTQ Community Fund has awarded about $1.3 million through more than 100 grants over the past decade. Annual grantmaking is supported by endowments that donors continue to grow as well as gifts to the annual grantmaking budget.

“We are grateful to the donors who have generously given to the LGBTQ Community Fund’s endowments and grants,” said Glenn Miller, chair of the grants panel. “With so many local nonprofits facing a challenging funding environment, it’s gratifying to be able to offer this support.”
