On April 30, 2026, The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida hosted a Donors Forum at the River Club to discuss Food Insecurity in Focus: Policy, Practice, and Philanthropy. The Community Foundation supports small, community‑based nonprofit organizations addressing everyday needs and building long‑term capacity across Northeast Florida. This grantmaking program is made possible by the Delores Barr Weaver Grassroots Grants Endowment, the Kitty and Reg Emans Memorial Fund, and other funding sources at the Foundation. In early 2026, 35 organizations received grants of $2,500 each, totaling $87,100, including, for the first time, two organizations in Baker County.

For the second year in a row, the Henri Landwirth Family Fund and Ullmann Wealth Partners offered a match for all donations to WJCT during their spring pledge drive on 89.9 FM. The couple behind this generous gift are Lisa Landwirth Ullmann and Glenn Ullmann, local philanthropists who give through funds at The Community Foundation of Northeast Florida.
