Competitive Community Grantmaking
The Community Foundation accepts grant applications for a variety of funding opportunities. Each category or focus has different guidelines and timelines.
Grant Categories
Most of our grantmaking falls into three main categories: Capacity Building, Program Support and support for Small Organizations. The Community Foundation also accepts grant applications in other focus areas where donors have requested that we oversee grantmaking decisions. Each focus area has different guidelines and timelines.
Nonprofit organizations may apply for any of the funding opportunities for which they qualify, but may only apply in one of the following three areas in a given year: Capacity Building, Program and support for Small Organizations. Click on each of the categories below to learn more and apply.
