Emerging Opportunities

If you are a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, and have a project in an area not included in our competitive grant opportunities, you may ask The Community Foundation to review your project for other possible resources by submitting a Preliminary Request for Consideration. This will help you communicate your project’s most relevant information to determine if there is a match for your project. All projects are considered on a rolling basis as funds are available.

We will prioritize the following:

  • Funding opportunities that leverage other financial support
  • Opportunities responding to urgent or pressing community needs
  • Collaborative projects

We will not consider:

  • Capital campaign requests or sponsorships of events
  • Requests outside of our region (Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, Baker, Clay and Putnam Counties)
  • Grants to individuals
  • General operating support not related to a specific project
