Marsha Hatcher, a multidisciplinary visual artist who has exhibited her work and helped to build a more vibrant arts community in Northeast Florida for three decades, has been honored with the 2024 Ann McDonald Baker Art Ventures Award. Isaiah Oliver recently sat down with Marsha to talk about her work, how she’s helping emerging artists in Jacksonville, and what it means for her to be selected for the Ann McDonald Baker Art Ventures Award. We also hear from Carol Alexander, TCF Trustee and member of the award selection committee, who recommended Ms. Hatcher for the award.
