Program Support Grants

These grants support organizations launching, expanding, or improving services. Priority is given to programs serving vulnerable populations and addressing unmet community needs.

Program Support Grants may be requested up to $25,000 (either a one or two-year grant). The total for a two-year request cannot exceed $25,000


  • Program Development and Innovation
  • Program Expansion

Priorities for Program Support Grants include (but are not limited to) these Focus Areas:

  • Programs Addressing Food Insecurity and Other Basic Needs (Hunger, Clothing, and other basic items)
  • Quality of Life for Aging Adults (direct support for aging adults, or caregiver support)
  • Improving the Quality of Life in Putnam County with a special focus on basic needs, children/youth and veterans
  • Improving services for Young Children (birth-Pre-school) and their caregivers/parents
  • Projects addressing large unmet community need (priority for collaborative efforts and projects that leverage other funding)


  • February 1, 2022: Grants application process opens
  • Technical Assistance appointments available 2/2/22 - 3/21/22, contact to schedule
  • March 23, 2022: Preliminary Applications due by 5pm
  • May 16, 2022: Invitations sent to submit full application materials or notification of decline
  • June 2, 2022: Full application materials due
  • August 31, 2022: Notified of grant decision
  • Grants may start as early as September 1, 2022 and must conclude by August 31, 2024
