Crisp-Ellert Grants for Visual Art in St. Augustine

The Dr. JoAnn Crisp-Ellert Fund offers grants to nonprofit organizations for projects which promote visual art or visual art education in St. Augustine.

The Fund has supported a wide range of innovative projects since grantmaking began in 2009. Click here for information on the most recent grants.

In 2019, grant proposals ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 will be accepted.

Proposals of $2,500 or less are called Sponsorships. These require submitting a Preliminary Application (click here). These are accepted at any time throughout the year while funds are still available.

Program Grant requests up to $10,000 require a Full Application. The Program Grant application period has closed for 2019.

The timeline for application deadlines is below.

Dr. JoAnn Crisp-Ellert Grant Timeline 2019: 

  • January 1, 2019: Crisp-Ellert Program Grant Full Application and Sponsorship Preliminary Application available on website.
  • February 7, 2019: Grants Roundtable Discussion (5:30 p.m.; location TBD)
  • May 8, 2019: Program Grant Full Applications due by 5PM
  • August 31, 2019: Grants Announced
