Crisp-Ellert Grants for Visual Art in St. Augustine
The Dr. JoAnn Crisp-Ellert Fund offers grants to nonprofit organizations for projects which promote visual art or visual art education in St. Augustine.
The Fund has supported a wide range of innovative projects since grantmaking began in 2009. Click here for information on the most recent grants.
In 2020, grant proposals ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 will be accepted.
Proposals of $2,500 or less are called Sponsorships. These require submitting a Preliminary Application (click here). These are accepted at any time throughout the year while funds are still available.
Program Grant requests up to $10,000 require a Full Application. Access the Full Application by clicking the Apply Button below.

- January 1, 2020: Crisp-Ellert Program Grant Full Application and Sponsorship Preliminary Applications available on website. (For the Program Grant Full Application, click APPLY below; for the Sponsorship Preliminary Application, see the Sponsorships paragraph above)
- March 4, 2020: Grants Roundtable Discussion (4:00 p.m.in the St. Augustine Record Building, One News Place)
- May 8, 2020: Program Grant Full Applications due by 5PM
- August 31, 2020: Grants Announced
