Since 1990, Art Ventures has made more than 240 grants to individual artists and more than 150 grants to small arts organizations.

Art Ventures - Organizations

These grants are open to small and mid-size arts and cultural organizations in Northeast Florida. The purpose of this funding is for organizational capacity-building and program development.
Grant size: $10,000

Deadline: July 21, 2026

Eligibility:

  • Small to mid-sized organization (annual revenues up to $1 million) with current 501(c)(3) status (or a formal agreement with a fiscal sponsor) and a minimum two-year work history.
  • The mission of the organization must be primarily focused on arts and culture.
  • The organization must be based in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam or St. Johns County.
Additional funding is available through the Delores Barr Weaver Black Arts Organizations Fund for Black-led/Black-centered organizations that meet one or more of the following criteria.
 
  • More than 50% of Black staff are in leadership positions.
  • More than 50% of the Board of Directors identify as Black.
  • The organization’s mission predominantly aims to celebrate arts of the African diaspora.

Timeline

  • May 19, 2026: Application opens online in our grantee portal.
  • May 28, 2026: Grant Application Assistance Webinar, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Registration link coming soon.
  • July 21, 2026: Applications due by 5:00 PM.
  • November 10, 2026: Grantees notified of awards.
  • December 1, 2026 – June 15, 2028: Grant projects must occur during this 18 month grant period.

The next Art Ventures – Organizations grant cycle will be in 2028.
