Early Childhood

The Jacksonville Children’s Endowment seeks to promote the growth of creative and efficient services to at-risk children in Duval County, from birth through pre-Kindergarten years, primarily through work with parents and caregivers.

Grants are awarded through the Jacksonville Children’s Endowment Fund at The Community Foundation. We will seek proposals that are based only in Duval County

2019 Programmatic Opportunities

Nonprofit organizations interested in applying for one year grants, up to $15,000, are required to submit a Pre-Application by January 8, 2019. If invited forward, organizations will then be asked to submit a Full Application by February 14, 2019.

Proposals in 2019 should seek to provide creative and efficient services to at-risk children from birth through pre-Kindergarten years of age by working with parents and/or caregivers. These funds should help build the capacity of providers and childcare workers, bring innovative strategies to the community, OR provide parent and caregiver education. Funding may be used to provide operational support for new or expanded services, but is not intended to provide ongoing operational support for existing services.
