Aging Adults Grants

For the 2026 grant cycle, grant applications are open to nonprofit organizations whose primary focus is support for aging adults or support for caregivers of aging adults.

Aging Adults Program Support

Our area is home to a growing population of aging adults, who face specific challenges as they seek to maintain a high quality of life on limited incomes. These grants focus on direct support for aging adults or support for caregivers of aging adults. 

Grant Size: Up to $25,000

Deadline: March 4, 2026

Eligibility:

  • Nonprofit organizations with current 501(c)(3) public charity or private operating foundation status, or religious institution
  • 2-year work history
  • Annual operating budget of $100,000 or above
  • Located in and serving Duval County, with some limited support available for services in Baker, Clay, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties

We are not able to fund:

  • Athletic associations
  • Fundraising event sponsorships
  • Schools and school-based organizations (PTAs, boosters, etc)
  • Requests outside our region (must be in: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau or St. Johns counties, with a primary focus on Duval)
  • Programs promoting religious beliefs*
*Grants may be made to faith-based organizations for the non-religious programs offered to the broader community

Timeline

  • January 6, 2026: Grant application opens in the Grantee Portal.
  • January 13, 2026 – February 27, 2026: Program staff are available for appointments in-person, virtually, or by phone to answer your questions. Please submit your appointment request here.
  • March 4, 2026: Applications due by 11:59 PM
  • June 1, 2026: Grants recipients notified
  • June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2028: Grant-funded projects must occur within this timeframe.
