The Beaches Community Fund supports nonprofit organizations serving the Beaches communities from Mayport to Guana, east of the Intracoastal Waterway
Deadline: November 30, 2026
Application opens October 19, 2026 in the Grantee Portal.
Grants are available to large and small organizations serving people from Mayport to Guana with no minimum or maximum grant size. Please apply for the amount that would help meet your organization’s needs in the following program areas:
- Supports for K-12 students (school-based supports, afterschool and out-of-school programs, and enrichment for low-income students and at-risk students).
- Early learning opportunities for low-income students (including access to high-quality education within early learning centers, enhancing quality and learning within early learning centers, and home or community-based learning opportunities).
- Meeting the basic needs of beaches residents (food, emergency financial assistance, housing, shelter, transportation, health care, and behavioral health support).
Applicants who are outside the parameters described above will be given lower priority.
Eligibility:
- Nonprofit organizations with a current 501(c)(3) status (or a formal agreement with a fiscal sponsor) and a minimum two-year work history.
- The proposed program or project must serve individuals, families, or communities within the Beaches Community Fund service area, defined as Mayport to Guana, east of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Timeline
- October 19, 2026 – Grant application opens in the Grantee Portal
- TBD – Online Grant Application Training via Zoom
- November 30, 2026: Applications due by 11:59 PM
- May 2027: Grants announced
- July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2028: One-year grant contract period (projects must take place within this timeframe)
