Aging Adults Grants

In 2019, Competitive Grants of $20,000 will be open to non-profit organizations focused on older adults and their care-givers.

An Aging Adults Preliminary Application process will begin in January 2019. The focus will be broadly upon helping organizations to improve the quality of life for older adults by assisting under-served and under-resourced seniors in Duval, Clay, Baker, St. Johns and Nassau counties. Aging Adults Grant 2019 Timeline:

  • January 2, 2019: Preliminary Grant Applications available on The Community Foundation website
  • January 25, 2019: Preliminary Grant Application Q&A at Senior Roundtable event (located at ElderSource, 10688 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257; full program runs from 9-10:30 a.m.; Q&A takes place during last 15 minutes) 
  • March 1, 2019: Preliminary Grant Applications due by 5pm
  • March 22, 2019: Selected applicants invited forward for Full Grant Application
  • April 8, 2019: Full Grant Orientation (For those invited forward – orientation will be at The Community Foundation offices – 245 Riverside Ave, Suite 310, 4-5pm)
  • June 3, 2019: Full Grant Applications due by 5pm
  • August 31, 2019: Grants announced
