Philanthropic Initiative
The Philanthropic Initiative is part of The Community Foundation in Jacksonville’s continuing effort to build social capital and increase philanthropy in Northeast Florida. The program includes three components: education, grantmaking and mentoring.
Philanthropic Initiative 2008 is designed to provide young adults (ages 25-35) with knowledge, resources and skills that will enable them to work to build a better community through philanthropy and help build a strong philanthropic network in Northeast Florida. Current participants work in a grantmaking capacity with a local family, corporate or independent foundation.
