Donors Forum of Northeast Florida

The Donors Forum of Northeast Florida provides a network for donors to promote and strengthen philanthropy in the region. The Forum seeks to encourage individual philanthropists, corporate donors, and foundation leaders to:

  • Share knowledge,
  • Explore the responsibilities of ethical grantmaking,
  • Develop a voice to promote philanthropy and encourage collective action, as appropriate to members' respective philanthropic goals.

The Donors Forum of Northeast Florida was established in 1990 as a program of The Community Foundation specifically to provide a venue where those involved in organized philanthropy could address common issues and interests.

photoThe Forum is comprised of representatives of private, corporate and community foundations in Northeast Florida. Members meet quarterly to learn about regional programs of philanthropic interest, discuss issues of mutual concern, and learn about collaborative opportunities.

The Forum's areas of focus are:

  • Education – supporting the professional growth of grantmakers.
  • Networking – providing the means for regular sharing of ideas and experiences among grantmakers.
  • Leading – growing philanthropy in Northeast Florida and supporting philanthropic responses to critical issues.

Membership is open to any private, family, or corporate grantmaking foundation.
