How To Apply

The Community Foundation makes grants through both competitive and non-competitive grantmaking programs.

For more information contact Cheryl Riddick, Vice President of Grantmaking Services.

Information for Grantseekers

The Commmunity Foundation makes grants to organizations that qualify for tax exemption under section 501 (c) (3) of the U.S. tax code. The Foundation makes some grants to governmental agencies. The Foundation also makes grants to individual artists.

In general, the Foundation supports projects or programs that serve residents in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties. The Foundation does not make grants to support general operating support of existing programs, construction or renovation of facilities, purchase of capital equipment, support of food programs, or purchase of tickets for fundraising activities. Because the Foundation is nonsectarian, it does not support religious programming through competitive grants. It does, however, support religious organizations serving the community through projects and programs that address the goals and objectives of the Foundation's grantmaking initiatives.
