Funds

The Community Foundation is a family of more than 280 funds established by donors to address their charitable and philanthropic interests. All of the Foundation's funds represent gifts of capital from individuals, families, corporations, trusts, private foundations and other not-for-profit organizations.

Grants from Unrestricted and Field-of-Interest funds support the competitive grantmaking initiatives of the Foundation.

In general, the grants from Designated, Organizational Endowments, Award and Scholarship and Donor Advised funds reflect the philanthropic interests of the donors and provide needed support to diverse charitable organizations. These are considered part of the non-competitive grantmaking of the Foundation.
